HJTND secured an order in September 2024 from SEATRIUM Shipyard in Singapore for 6sets of 1,760MT Tri Loaders to be installed on the world’s largest 15,000-ton Goliath crane. The fabrication of the equipment is scheduled for completion by February 2025, with final delivery preparations underway for SEATRIUM.
HJTND previously designed and successfully delivered Lifting Loaders for 2units of SEATRIUM’s 15,000-ton Goliath cranes in 2018. This latest project further demonstrates the company’s proven engineering capabilities and expertise. The 15,000-ton Goliath crane, standing at 127 meters in height and spanning 181 meters in width, is the world’s largest mobile Goliath crane, playing a critical role in lifting and assembling large shipbuilding blocks.

The newly developed 1,760MT Tri Loader is designed as a large-scale lifting device, measuring 3.7 meters in width and 2.8 meters in height. It is engineered with optimized specifications to support the immense capacity of the 15,000-ton Goliath crane.
Notably, it is equipped with a Ø1500 large sheave to facilitate wire lifting and a Ø156 high-capacity wire rope capable of lifting up to 2,200 tons, ensuring safe and efficient heavy-load lifting operations.

One of the most critical aspects of the fabrication process was the alignment and assembly of the hook pin connection part, which required significant time and precision. Additionally, the welding of structural components for the 1,760-ton heavy lifting device demanded high-strength procedures to ensure durability and reliability.
Furthermore, a high-quality coating process was meticulously carried out to enhance the equipment’s durability, ensuring optimal performance in harsh marine environments.

The 1,760MT Tri Loader has successfully passed all international safety standard inspections and is now ready for delivery to SEATRIUM Shipyard. Through this project, HJTND has further solidified its reputation as a global leader in the development and manufacturing of heavy lifting devices and plans to continue expanding its presence in the global market.
HJTND has independently developed all lifting devices for integration with the 15,000-ton Goliath crane, leveraging its proprietary engineering expertise to contribute to the advancement of the global shipbuilding industry.
